The Love Map uses artificial intelligence to guide your interview and create your map. We believe you should understand exactly how that works and what happens to what you share. This page sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
Your interview is led by Virgil, an AI guide — not a human, and not a licensed professional. Virgil asks questions, listens to your responses, and helps surface the stories underneath your patterns. It is a tool for reflection, not therapy or medical care.
To generate your personalized map, the responses you share are processed by a third-party large language model (AI) provider acting on our behalf. This processing is what allows Virgil to respond to you and to assemble your map.
We do not use your interview responses to train third-party or foundation AI models, and we instruct our providers not to use your content to train their general models. Your conversation is yours.
Your responses and your map are stored securely and encrypted in transit so you can pause and return to your session. Access is limited to operating the service and supporting you. You can ask us to delete your data at any time — see our Privacy Policy.
AI can be imperfect and may not always get things right. Your map is a personalized starting point for reflection, not professional advice or a clinical assessment. Please use your own judgment, and seek a qualified professional for therapy, medical, legal, or financial concerns.
